Project plan
We work in travel marketing B2B2C niche, using mostly agent portals (for now) to bridge supplier content to agents and consumers. Currently mostly legacy code and websites. This project is a quick deep dive to understand the differences and intersections between:
- Seasoned travel agent — decades of experience, deep industry/location knowledge, tips, tricks, things to see and avoid. People who use great agents rave: pitfalls avoided, better experience, often saving money. (brief 01)
- Beginner travel agent — under a decade in. Where's the gap vs. a seasoned veteran? How do we bring the average agent from beginner to ultimate curated plans? Identify agent value, why customers should prefer agents, best marketing strategies, best ways to add value to suppliers. (brief 02)
- LLM-driven "Travel Agent" — test what an LLM agent can do today: a quality travel-agent experience from an LLM (Muse Spark 1.3), then compare strengths/weaknesses vs. a human agent. (brief 03 + Muse test)
- Extrapolation — strengths of in-person contact vs. AI; reasons + potential tools for agents and suppliers: trust, friendship, knowledge for their next adventures. (brief 04)
Requested outputs (all delivered)
- Markdown briefs per bullet — clear, concise, non-technical, solutions-focused. See all briefs →
- Simple LLM virtual travel agent demo (Python app: LLM call + pro agent-portal UI + structured output, prefilled from test-location.md). Frozen as this static page.
- HTML summary page — clean, professional, B2B2C solutions for today, tomorrow, and the foreseeable future. That's this page.
